Anonymous asked: They aren't stating that at all though. They do say that all people should have access to reproductive health no matter how they identify. What they said, and many of these people are trans* themselves, is that the anti-choice movement is historically anti-woman, and that some people should be allowed to talk about pro-choice ideas in that context, i.e. reproductive health for women. Read saltmarshhag for more commentary (she is trans*)
Which “they” are you referencing? Because i’m not just on about that last reblog at all. I will definitely read this, thank you. Of course people should be able to talk about reproductive rights as a response to an anti-women history but that doesn’t mean the reproductive fight is ONLY for cis women. Is it really so hard to speak up against anti-women reproductive issues and even briefly mention trans* people? That anti-women history is a vocalised issue, yet the anti-trans history of reproductive rights is so much of an issue that people across all political situations refuse to even discuss or consider the reproductive needs of trans folk. If its difficult for cis women to get birth control in America, I dread to think how difficult it is for a trans man.
