My friend, who is an adult man and identifies as a feminist, was telling me that men don’t have a place in feminism because feminism should be for the advancement of women.
I told him that seemed cis-centric to me and asked if there weren’t room for trans individuals in feminism, then?
“Hardly. I don’t think trans people have a place in feminism. I think their struggle is their own. I also think the needs of trans people are different than gay and lesbian people. The lgbtq thing troubles me.”
He then goes on to tell me that “this whole cis-gender” this is a fraud.
